about

This track was originally written in 1994 and sat on the shelf for 14 years. After an initial excursion into positive hip hop it was clear to me that a waiting game was on. I didn't think either that I would wait that long or that the track would ever be released. After a few small modifications the track made it through the Knomaad cuttin floor and hit plastic in 2008. The lyrics are actually a message to myself as I find my critical aspect overbearing too often. Enjoy.

lyrics

No I can't deal nor can't feel real if I been
payin out on crews whose been sorta like
lackin skills or MC thrills comparing to me,
so what do I care if brther Twist packs a lisp?
